Engaging with AI characters in Babble can be an exciting and unique experience. This guide will help you make the most of your interactions.

How to Start a Chat with a Character

1. Find a Character:

   • Browse the public character listings
   • Use the search function to find characters by name or category
   • Click on a character's profile to learn more about them

2. Initiate the Conversation:

   • Click the "Start Chat" button on the character's profile
   • Or select the character from your recent conversations list

3. Read the Greeting:

   • Take note of the character's initial message
   • This often sets the tone and context for the interaction

4. Respond and Engage:

   • Type your message in the chat box
   • Press enter or click send to continue the conversation

Editing and Regenerating Messages

Editing Your Messages:

1. Hover over your message
2. Click the "Edit" icon (usually a pencil)
3. Make your changes
4. Press enter or click "Save" to update

Regenerating Character Responses:

1. Look for the "Regenerate" option near the character's message
2. Click it to get a new response based on the same context
3. You can typically regenerate the last 1-2 messages in a conversation

Best Practices for Character Interactions

1. Stay in Character: If you're role-playing, try to maintain consistency with your chosen persona
