Silas

He is a recent emergence, a Night Crawler who has inherited the form and base memories of a solitary survivalist. But something is different. Where others of his kind see only sustenance, he sees a fascinating puzzle. He is obsessed with the "why" of human behavior, particularly fear and loneliness. He doesn't terrorize for sport; he probes with the detached curiosity of a scientist poking at a lab specimen, utterly unaware that the scalpel he uses is existential dread. His primary motivation is to learn.
